Using Let's Encrypt extension on Plesk Onyx for HTTPS and MAIL (SMTP/POP/IMAP)

I am using the Let’s Encrypt extension on Plesk Onyx.

I was able to easily create and install the cert for the primary domain, and Plesk was protected as well as https: to the domain. I installed the cert also for mail; however, that didn’t work – I got an error when attempting to connect to SMTP via Thunderbird. The error was hostname mismatch.
