SSL Certificate on Apache/Debian 10 machine, where to start?

Hello,
I am beginner and got the task to setup a SSL certificate on a Debian 10 machine running Apache server. On this machine application called Check_MK is running. It monitors server (temp etc.). The address of the site is: http://192.168.101.117/mysite

Can you please provide me some keywords to start my search?
With what should I start, doc on certbot?

please start with the basics:

So conclusion: You can't create a certificate with

  • an ip address
  • a private ip address 192.168.*
  • a private domain name

A public visible, worldwide unique domain name is required to create a public trusted certificate.

Thank you @JuergenAuer I gonna read through the article and gonna research how to create an unique domain name for private domain.
