SSL Certificate for Draytek 2832 router

Hi,

I use a Draytek 2832 router at my pub. We have card machines on the network and to comply with the payment vendors I need a trusted SSL certificate on the router. Currently on has a self signed cert.

How do i go about creating a simple certificate that I can then upload to the router please ?

Simon

Hi @chaps2k2

has the router a public visible, unique domain name? That's required to create a Letsencrypt certificate.

Start with the basics:

Then select a client.

It's possible that this domain points to a running webserver. Then use that webserver to create only the certificate (certbot: Use the certonly option). Then another script installs the certificate.
