Spurious (?) notice?

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. crt.sh | example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is: rotechmotor.ca

I ran this command:certbot certificates

It produced this output: valid for 61 days

My web server is (include version): apache 2.4

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): centos 7

My hosting provider, if applicable, is:n/a

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don't know): yes

I'm using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel):

The version of my client is (e.g. output of certbot --version or certbot-auto --version if you're using Certbot): certbot 1.24.0

Anyway... i got an email saying this domain expires in 1 days ( tomorrow).
I can't just look at the cert expiry manually as it redirects to another domain before I can see it in a browser...

we have a pile of domains on this certbot and they are all in the same date range, so I am pretty confident that the 61 days that certbot reports is true, and that the email is spurious

ah wait.. looks like its a similar thing as what happened three years ago: Expiry bot says "20 days" but cert check says 46 days - #2 by mnordhoff

I guess its probably a domain where we added/removed some subdomain a while back...

Yes, if your domains change the expiration emails will come.

It's fine: letsdebug-toolkit

(I initially thought some domains were missing but it's expected they don't show with that query)

Hi @rotech1 and WELCOME BACK!!
I appreciate you linking to your own thread from a couple years ago. ;0)
This is a relatively common question here though.
@9peppe is correct (good link too) If you change it they will come. (Expiration notices.)
Good Luck!
