This configuration isn't making sense from my perspective. It would be worth pausing to determine what the desired outcome is here. If the DDNS hostname is just meant to allow the long hostname to reach a server at a dynamic IP, a CNAME would be better than a redirect, and no certificate would needed for the DDNS hostname, since the site would still be using the original long hostname.
