Renewals failing after upgrade to debian 11

Just use certbot certificates and the expiry date. It should renew 30 days before that. That is the current default for 90 day certs.

So, yours is due to renew in about 9 days

Not all curl is bad.
But if you have no other remedy, then I guess stick with what you know.
