Rate limit vs Expiration

I’ve gotten a rate limit after trying to renew while hitting a bug on Nginx. However, my certifications are set to expire today! Is there any way to lift the rate limit for situations like this, so that my site doesn’t crash into flames?

My domain name:

• api.automatedbrowsertesting.com
• blog.automatedbrowsertesting.com

The output:
Attempting to renew cert from /etc/letsencrypt/renewal/api.automatedbrowsertesting.com.conf produced an unexpected error: urn:acme:error:rateLimited :: There were too many requests of a given type :: Error creating new authz :: Too many invalid authorizations recently… Skipping.

Hi @dok,

This rate limit only lasts for one hour, unlike rate limits based on issuance, which generally last for a week.
