I had the same problem with iredmail and debian 12
stop nginx
start apache2
use certbot ..options... -w /var/www/html ... other options
remember to sto apche and start nginx
Why on earth would you want to stop one webserver, only to start another one? If that process works, it sounds like something is horribly misconfigured.
