looks curious. there is a space.
Try using two -d options
certbot certonly --cert-name theprequel.org -d theprequel.org -d www.theprequel.org
or without the space
certbot certonly --cert-name theprequel.org -d theprequel.org,www.theprequel.org
And use certonly - not certainly
