I am following the guide here https://www.baswijdenes.com/portfolio/how-to-use-lets-encrypt-certificates-for-windows-servers/ to be able create a certificate to use with ADFS.
I am not able to export that certificate from IIS. It doesnt give me that option.
If I go to the certificate console in the web hosting section I can export it but it wont let me export the private key.
What am I doing wrong?
My domain is: adfs.oneidacsd.org
The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): server 2016

that may happen if the private key isn't marked as exportable.
How did you import the certificate?
Checked with my own server: View - Export (Save in file) -> the menu asks, if the private key should be exported.
It automatically did it all by running the acme client.
Did you use "View". Is there something visible like

So this private key symbol is shown.
Then click “Details” to save the certificate.
