Nodejs Socket.io Server is listening but client doesn't reach server

Ping it and see what IP you get.
If not up-to-date, then clear your DNS cache.
[presuming Windows PC]
ipconfig /flushdns
[from an Administrative CMD prompt]
Then ping it again and see what IP you get.
If it is still wrong, then speak to your DNS provider OR wait out the TTL.

If it is up-to-date AND you are still unable to reach the server on port 3008...

Are you saying that you see no error in the console when visiting Lavé | Peer-to-Peer Laving Service? Would you mind showing a screenshot please? Just for reassurance
