NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID but certificate is valid

I think this might be good reason to reach out to Linode.com directly.

Thank you!

We upgraded to a new VPS in November and that IPv6 address is the older server. I think this is the problem.

I'll contact linode.com about this.

Interesting! That also means that some of your site visitors may have (successfully) interacted with the old server between November and the time the old certificate expired. If there is information that users submit to you through the site, you might want to check the old server to see if it has information that should have been submitted on the new site.

We confirmed this is true, holy heck. Some data was posted to the older server.

This appears to be the problem!

Howcome is the old server still up and running just like nothing has happened? :stuck_out_tongue:

This is so unbelievably common.

Have confirmed this is a DNS resolution issue, seemingly as a result of Linode having bad nameserver information, despite records being confirmed as setup correctly.

The German one at the bottom too

and Russia and France

Correct, however very few visits from those locations but regardless, yes. The USA registrars are what we need resolved asap; have contacted Linode about this directly.

Wish I could say this is the first time I've heard this with them, but it's certainly not. If you search in this forum you'll find other, similar issues.

As instructed, I had to delete and recreate their nameserver domain records to have them repropogate across DNS servers. Will take some time to resolve but should be fixed.

Thank you all!!!!
