My domain was banned by Let's Encrypt Module

My domain is: portosound.com

Specialists on server told that they fixed the problem with Let’s encrypt module, but they told me that Let’s Encrypt banned my domain up to 7 days. I asked them to solve the problem, they say they don’t have access to Let’s Encrypt. Maybe you can help me?

It produced this output:

My web server is (include version): https://92.53.105.178:1500/ispmgr

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): ISPmanager Lite 5.126.0

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: ISP system

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): yes

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel):

Hi @Leon2406,

I think that the server people might have misinterpreted the “ban”. There are several different limits

https://letsencrypt.org/docs/rate-limits/

However, the main limit that takes 7 days to reset is when you issue many identical certificates. Then you will have to wait a week in order to get new ones. This does not appear to have happened for your domain:

https://crt.sh/?Identity=%portosound.com&iCAID=16418

If you make too many unsuccessful attempts to obtain a certificate, there is also a limit that will block new attempts. However, this limit times out after only 1 hour, not 7 days. Thus, it should be possible to try again just by waiting for 1 hour.

Hi @Leon2406

Seconding what @schoen said here (thanks!) it looks like previously you were hitting the hourly failed authorization limit.

Was your host able to figure things out? I see that at 2017-11-09T18:24 UTC there was a successful certificate issuance for a cert covering portosound.com and www.portosound.com.

Thanks a lot! everything works fine now)
