Lost TXT record and deleted pem files

How to generate a new TXT file if I lost the TXT file given by certbot and I've also deleted the pem files generated.

My domain is: api.dma-staging.apps.gov.ph

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: Cloudflare

Hi @lawrence014, and welcome to the LE community forum :slight_smile:

Just start over:

  • The TXT records are single use, so they will always be replaced on each renewal request.
  • All pem files can be replaced/reissued by a successful renewal request.

Thanks for responding. I renewed the certificate that is not yet expired but when I successfully renewed it no TXT record given only the pem files are being generated.

Perhaps you succesfully authorized those hostnames earlier. When a hostname is succesfully authorized, using for example the TXT records for the dns-01 challenge, they are cached for 30 days. So in that window you won't need to re-authorize the hostnames to issue a new certificate.
