Limits on Let's Encrypt Certificate

I want to implement SSL on my website but struggling to understand the limits imposed by let's encrypt.

I read from here that

Let's Encrypt limits you to 5 actions/7 days per domain

What does that mean ?

Does it relate to number of browser request ?

Thanks

Hi @noisytoken,

That info is outdated. Read the official rate limits page https://letsencrypt.org/docs/rate-limits/ and if you have any doubt, come back and we will try to do our best to clarify it.

So the new rate is 20 per week. However, please clarify whether is there any limitation of number of browser request or transaction made using these certs.

@noisytoken, there isn’t any limitation on browser requests nor transactions. The only limit is to issue certs for your domain.
