HI gents, I’ve been trying to follow the instructions above to automate the install of a certificate for a new Exchange server I have installed.
Ran through the tutorial by Netometer which can be found here: https://www.netometer.com/blog/?p=1758
Unfortunately when trying the test installation on my IIS server it is failing when it goes back to try and verify it has written the correct authorizing identifier into the IIS directory created and I get the following (edited) message:
The ACME server was probably unable to reach http://hostname/.well
-known/acme-challenge/
Check in a browser to see if the answer file is being served correctly.
Could anyone help explain to me why the web requests to this file are getting denied? I keep getting 403 errors whenever I try to browse to it.
