Is anyone working on an Ubuntu PPA

I see that Debian and Ubuntu already have official letsencrypt packages – in upcoming versions (sid, testing, xenial):

• https://packages.debian.org/letsencrypt
• https://packages.ubuntu.com/letsencrypt

Is anyone working on creating a PPA with backports of those packages for older Ubuntu releases (especially 14.04 LTS)?
