Do note however, WordPress is a big platform which is widely used around the globe. And it has a history of many vulnerabilities which might have serious implications for your server (i.e., hacked). Installing WordPress on your server, in my opinion, gives you the responsibility to maintain it by keeping it and all its plugins as up to date as possible.
