I have a vhost for example.org and cert already issued, and at the same time I have another vhost added for example.com but I have permanent redirect to example.org.
Would it be a bad idea to expand the cert to include example.com?

Hi @JoyalV,
I don’t see anything wrong with that. It’s useful to have certificate coverage for your redirect because then visitors who use https://example.com/ can get redirected to https://example.org/ without encountering a certificate error.
