Hello im installing a VPS on Hostinger and im using webmin/virtualmin im recieving the bellow error. any guidance will be apreciated.

Saving debug log to /var/log/letsencrypt/letsencrypt.log
Renewing an existing certificate for imaginecloud.tech and *.imaginecloud.tech

Certbot failed to authenticate some domains (authenticator: manual). The Certificate Authority reported these problems:
Domain: imaginecloud.tech
Type: dns
Detail: DNS problem: NXDOMAIN looking up TXT for _acme-challenge.imaginecloud.tech - check that a DNS record exists for this domain

Hint: The Certificate Authority failed to verify the DNS TXT records created by the --manual-auth-hook. Ensure that this hook is functioning correctly and that it waits a sufficient duration of time for DNS propagation. Refer to "certbot --help manual" and the Certbot User Guide.

Some challenges have failed.
Ask for help or search for solutions at https://community.letsencrypt.org. See the logfile /var/log/letsencrypt/letsencrypt.log or re-run Certbot with -v for more details.

After you created the TXT record in your DNS zone how long did you wait before proceeding in Certbot? You just may need to wait longer.

Use a tool like https://unboundtest.com to check whether the TXT record has synced among all the Hostinger DNS auth servers.

actually i didnt change any txt record, the manual says only to change the A record

wath values a TXT record need to let me do this?

and yes, i redirect my domain just a couple of hours ago

It shouldn't have. Your first post shows a DNS Challenge which needs a TXT record. You were also requesting a wildcard cert which requires a DNS Challenge (as opposed to an HTTP or TLS-ALPN challenge).

I guess walk through the steps again and if it asks you to modify an A record please post that here. Or, post a link to the manual you refer to that says that.

here is

Yes, those are instructions to allow connections to your VPS from the public internet.

But, the way to get a cert to enable HTTPS is a different thing.

Your error message says the manual-auth-hook didn't work. What did you specify for that?

Can you just show the entire Certbot command you tried?
