How to set up a proxy for Signal

Hi there

I am trying to set up a proxy via vps for Signal users in Iran. I'm following this guide:

I have a VPS via contabo.com but no domain.

Would the easiest solution be to ask a friend to set up a subdomain that I can use for this purpose?

If you have a friend willing to setup a subdomain that would be cheaper. Or, buy a domain of your own.

Those instructions are just running docker and scripts that Signal created. You'd probably be better asking config questions on the Signal Community. I'm sure others there will be more experienced with this setup.
