How to obtain a certificate for a domain

Maybe you could make a screenshot as a JPEG?

I am converting the document to a JPG file now

Here they are, hope you can read that…
Thanks again

@_az, do you have an idea of what’s happened here?

No, that’s why I uploaded the screen shots

Since the cPanel server has AutoSSL enabled, I don’t see any reason to use Let’s Encrypt for this website. cPanel will automatically issue and manage SSL certificates for your domains, which it has already done for you.

Your other issues are because of mixed content as @schoen mentioned, and the only way to fix this is to make changes to the code of your website. The reason that some browsers may render it differently is because they have varying policies in insecure/mixed content.

I was hoping for @_az's input, and now we've got it.

So, I don't know what was wrong with the cPanel situation at the outset but perhaps your hosting provider has fixed it. In that case I guess you don't need to use Let's Encrypt at all as long as you're hosting in this environment and nothing changes.

Your cPanel certificate expires on June 3, 2018, so you might want to check in mid-May to ensure that cPanel has automatically renewed it for you. You can see whether this has happened by looking at the certificates in the cPanel interface (as you did above), or by viewing the detailed certificate information in a web browser when accessing the site.

I don’t know if Netregistry did anything at all.
They just provide an interface which was there all along to insert a certificate provided by others, this is what i did.
They charge for a certificate $199 per annum.

I really dont know what to expect or do after 90 days…
Thanks again

Gentlemen,
Thank you both for your help and input.
I made the required changes to the links I had on some pages from http to https and all is fine with that.
My web hosting has done nothing for me, nor will it automatically generate a new cert when the time comes. It offers me a cert for $199 yearly fee and because the website owner is NOT me, I didn’t take it.
I am not sure what the owners will do after the expiry date, I am just not inclined to have to renew this every 3 months, so I will let them decide.

And before I go, maybe Let’s Encrypt will consider adding to the documentation the links you Schoen provided where I could generate the cert and key on line, if I could find that hint in the docs, I would not have bothered you

Thanks again
Alex
