How to install certbot dns plugin on Win Server 2012

My domain is: *.library.xu.edu.ph
My web server is: Windows Server 2012

I apologize. I think I am missing something because I can’t seem to do a simple thing like install a certbot dns plugin: dns-google or any other dns plugin. Nor do I see any documentation/instructions for what I want to do.

I already installed certbot and it is running but I need the dns plugin because I need a wildcard certificate.

Thank you!

I think it's not possible currently with certbot. See the instructions for Windows on certbot.eff.org:

DNS plugins will be available soon. This means that Certbot for Windows is currently unable to automatically renew wildcard certificates, since these require a DNS plugin in order to be renewed without user intervention.

Hi @chickoy3

from

Only standalone, manual and webroot authenticator plugins are supported.

It's not an automation. But you can use manual. You have to do that every 60 - 85 days.

That’s what I missed!!!

Thank you, Osiris and JuergenAuer for your replies.

Cheers!
