When I request the certificate they said for wildcard that I needed to add my sites like this: *.lesbricollesdecleo.com lesbricollesdecleo.ca lesbricoles.com
I don't think so because support just emailed me to tell me that I can have Comodo autossl with is auto-renew because they are planning to add LetsEncrypt right now, they will add it to Cloud VPS first
And when I received the certificat they said I will receive an email in 90 days to renew it.
Thank you for the link!
I was surprise that they let me poste, I took a chance and it worked.
So everything is working ok for now, hope it will continue.
I am using FF, at first I went to the link and tried it there and then I did it again on my site and realize that it's time for me to go to sleep!
I would need some more help for the only problem (I think) that I still have and didn't find the answer yet, should I open another thread or continue on the same one?
Thank you very much, I tried different thing but not that!
I tried to fix the problem myself and I believe it didn't work cause now I have a completely blank page!!
I am looking at my error.log file trying to find out what I did wrong :(
Letsencrypt is working perfectly (almost) on my 3 sites except for one thing which I believe is related to LE because it started just after the install.
In OC you are using the same template for as many language you want, I am using only 2 English/French but because I wanted my 2 store to have their own feed instead of using the drop-down box to switch from French to English that is included I removed the language switcher and replaced it with a link that visitor just have to click to navigate from domain.com (En) to domain.ca (FR) and each site (domain) have their own template, since then it was working perfectly but now with HTTPS Iâs not working anymore.
No matter on which site you are it always âFrançaisâ that is showing now, if you are on the English site(.com) and you click on Français you are switching to the French site(.ca) but once you are on the French site(.ca) you still see the button with âFrançaisâ and even if you try to click it itâs not switching to the .com site!
I replaced HTTP with HTTPS in the files that contain the links but itâs still not working.
/catalog/view/theme/MyTheme/template/module/language (is my French template) in which I have:
When I came here yesterday and posted that everything was fixed, I have checked every buttons on the menu of each site to make sure they were working perfectly.
And then I noticed that there was a yellow triangle on the padlock for the 2 home page, so I search on google how to force ssl and added a rewrite_rule/condition to the .htaccess and I saw that the yellow triangle had disappeared, so I did not think about checking the links of the menus again.
It is more complicate then I thought with multi-stores
Looks like have no choice and I will have to buy an extension called Force SSL everywhere, at least if there are errors the programmer will fix them or I will remove LE!
Itâs a pity I did not learn programming, at least I would understand better the rules / functionl / etc.
Thank you, but I tried so many thing to fix the language problem, I even bought an extension ForceSSL, and it wasnât working properly because of the language problem, so I got so discouraged and removed everything et mess everything, so now I just ask for a complete restore before I added LestEncrypt.
I will take a little brake and then will decide if I reinstall it.
Well after I removed LE and restore my site I contacted my host and they told me that because of the plan I have they already added/enable ComodoAuSsl, so I contacted the creator of the ForceSsl extension and he installed it for me and fixed the errors I had in my store and now everythings is working perfectly!
