I’m not sure that .online .pw .tech and .space are allowed as FQDNs in the code.
any domain is technically allowed except for some blacklists and “internationalized domain names” (IDNs), which have non-ascii signs in them.

They should. What is giving you the impression they are not?
User error. I was doing -domain instead of -d from some guide i found online, so it was always telling me omain is not a FQDN. Didn’t read the error carefully lol…
