CSR is invalid - While trying to download SSL Certificate

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. https://crt.sh/?q=example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is: terabhyte.com

I ran this command: Download Certificate via Manual Verification

It produced this output: CSR is invalid. Make sure to disable all extensions but SAN on your CSR as any other extensions are not supported. Full error: { “type”: “urn:ietf:params:acme:error:malformed”, “detail”: “Error parsing certificate request: asn1: structure error: tags don’t match (16 vs {class:0 tag:4 length:65 isCompound:false}) {optional:false explicit:false application:false private:false defaultValue:\u003cnil\u003e tag:\u003cnil\u003e stringType:0 timeType:0 set:false omitEmpty:false} certificateRequest @2”, “status”: 400 }

My web server is (include version): Ngix

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): Windows 2013

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: arvixe.com

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): I dont know

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): WebsitePanel

The version of my client is (e.g. output of certbot --version or certbot-auto --version if you’re using Certbot): SSLforFree Web

How? Where? Which site? Which program? Which client?

Did you make your own CSR somehow to use with SSLforFree? If not, did your hosting provider give you a CSR file from somewhere in its control panel?
