Could not automatically find a matching server block for dashboard.innovwayz.tech. Set the `server_name` directive to use the Nginx installer

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. crt.sh | example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is: dashboard.innovwayz.tech

I ran this command: certbot --nginx -d dashboard.innovwayz.tech

It produced this output: Saving debug log to /var/log/letsencrypt/letsencrypt.log
Certificate not yet due for renewal

You have an existing certificate that has exactly the same domains or certificate name you requested and isn't close to expiry.
(ref: /etc/letsencrypt/renewal/dashboard.innovwayz.tech.conf)

What would you like to do?

1: Attempt to reinstall this existing certificate
2: Renew & replace the certificate (may be subject to CA rate limits)

Select the appropriate number [1-2] then [enter] (press 'c' to cancel): 1
Deploying certificate
Could not install certificate

NEXT STEPS:

  • The certificate was saved, but could not be installed (installer: nginx). After fixing the error shown below, try installing it again by running:
    certbot install --cert-name dashboard.innovwayz.tech

Hi. The nginx -T output tells you that your server config is not applied. You probably forgot to make a symlink from sites-enabled.

Enter command to make symlink : sudo ln -s /etc/nginx/sites-available/dashboard.innovwayz.tech /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/ The output of command is : ln: failed to create symbolic link '/etc/nginx/sites-enabled/dashboard.innovwayz.tech': File exists

What does this show?

sudo ls -l /etc/nginx/sites-enabled

Your nginx.conf includes only *.conf files in that folder. You should standardize on .conf files or adjust your main nginx.conf to follow your alternate choice.

Entered the command : sudo ls -l /etc/nginx/sites-enabled

The output of comand is : root@InnovWayzProdDashboard:~# sudo ls -l /etc/nginx/sites-enabled
total 4
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 51 Mar 9 10:36 dashboard.innovwayz.tech -> /etc/nginx/sites-available/dashboard.innovwayz.tech
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2637 Feb 27 10:12 default
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 38 Mar 9 10:05 your_domain -> /etc/nginx/sites-available/your_domain

Yeah, I dont see any files ending in .conf in sites-enabled. Please review my previous comment again. And, review the nginx docs about the include statement.
