I always get an error when running certbot via
journalctl -u certbot-renewal.service
Jun 29 13:06:20 samenhuizen.net systemd[1]: Started certbot-renewal.service - Certbot Renewal.
Jun 29 13:06:24 samenhuizen.net systemd[1]: certbot-renewal.service: Deactivated successfully.
Please help

What about these messages jumps at you like itʼs an error? Looks like completely normal run of a renewal service when thereʼs nothing to renew.

I think I know where confusion might come from. Certbot renew is a “oneshot” service in systemd terms: it gets started by a timer, does it's thing, and shuts down, to be started again, when the timer rings once more.

Maybe systemd spams OPs mailbox with these results?
We'd need OP to tell us more to know for sure what the issue exactly is.

Maybe adding a word like "normal/routine/scheduled
" in those messages would help clarify their existence.

So, the "push/pull request" goes left not right.
It's still a request to someone somewhere to add some more English to the line(s).
I mean, yes, they shouldn't be coming directly from certbot
