Cert not renewing but no errors?

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better.

My domain is: portal.jccscpa.com

I ran this command:letsencrypt.exe --renew --baseuri “https://acme-v01.api.letsencrypt.org/

It produced this output:letsencrypt.exe --renew --baseuri "https://acme-v01.api.letsencrypt.org/"

Checking Renewals
Checking IIS Portal.jccscpa.com (E:\Doc-ItWebPortal\Website) Renew After 3/3/2017

My operating system is (include version): Windows server 2008 R2 fully patched

My web server is (include version): IIS 7.5

My hosting provider, if applicable, is:

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): Windows but yes

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): No

Does IIS have to be reloaded after certificate renewal? I know all *nix based webservers need a reload of the sorts.

I don’t think so but during this testing I have performed an IISReset as well as rebooted the entire server. What’s interesting is that the cert says that it will expire 1/31/2017 but the information returned when I ran letsencrypt.exe says that it should expire in March.

Hello @CanyonMan,

Seems a bug of your letenscrypt-win-simple client, other people is having issues renewing their certs https://github.com/Lone-Coder/letsencrypt-win-simple/issues/308 so maybe you could get more help posting your issue on github page.

I don’t use Windows so I can’t recommend any alternative to letsencrypt-win-simple but you could check the list of Windows clients, maybe other could fit your needs better than the current one

Cheers,
sahsanu
