Can't renew certificate on Synology

#1

My domain is: thebiermans.ddns.net

I ran this command:
I have a Synology DS412+. I had an existing let’sencrypt certficate that is expiring soon so I wanted to renew it. I used the Synology Security panel. It said to

  1. Open ports 80 or 443. I forwarded both to the Synology.
  2. Set up DNS properly. I’m not sure what they mean by that, but I have DNS servers set on the NAS. I can get there from outside our LAN.

It produced this output:
When I renew the certificate, I get the message:

The operation failed. Please log in to DSM again and retry.

Based on "The operation failed. Please log in to DSM again and retry", I checked /var/log/messages and see this:

So on the Synology I went to Control Panel > External Access > Advanced and reset “Hostname or static IP”. It seems to be working now. Very strange, but I think I’m ok now.
