Yes, it does work with valid authorizations.

Just to double confirm. Yes, it does indeed work against against Boulder and every other free CA's ACME server implementation I've tested against.

Thank you both for correcting me. I'll have to update our client to enable this, and add some unit tests to ensure it continues to work properly.
