Auto SSL won't work on sub domain cPanel

I created a subdomain (client.hostcari.com) of my main domain (hostcari.com) using cPanel, but Auto SSL won't generate a certificate for the subdomain, but it gnerates one for www.client.hostcari.com.

This is the error it's giving.

MASTER DCV: 403 urn:ietf:params:acme:error:unauthorized (The client lacks sufficient authorization) (13.248.215.36: Invalid response from http://client.hostcari.com/.well-known/acme-challenge/aminhUZQd8DGXfPt5a5KG26hlxj87KEMoJS4GTHzhDU: 404) A rate limit prevents DCV.

I have WHM control over this domain and site if that helps.

Please, does anyone know what might be going wrong?

As @linkp pointed out you are being limited by LE Rate Limit

See your cert history at any Certificate Transparency log search tool (like below) or even possibly your own cPanel logs.

You have no trouble getting certs but for some reason you must think they are not working. You would have to provide more info about why you thought that. Or, maybe ask your hosting provider.

Thank you, it was a limit issue as you said. It works now.
