There is supposed to be a 24-hour window on March 15 (today) where the staging environment has asynchronous order finalization enabled. What is that window in UTC? We are trying to test our client implementation but are not seeing any difference in behavior as of this morning. RE: Enabling Asynchronous Order Finalization
@lestaff Could you please provide the time zone of the mentioned dates?
And please remember this in the future as your public is quite global
I presume the change is deployed manually, so the timing won't be exact to any timezone. It's likely to occur during US working hours though.
They typically make an update post once it's enabled, so I would watch for that.
Yep, @Nummer378 has it exactly correct. We did not give precise times because we weren't sure what those precise times would be ourselves. Thank you for your patience; we'll update that thread when we have enabled async finalization.
Can someone confirm that the Async Order Finalization is enabled in Staging?
Ah OK. Makes sense. Might be useful information in the announcement "No time is given as blahblah approximate blahblah" or something similar
Just try your client with ZeroSSL etc, they regularly make you wait multiple seconds or even minutes for auth and order changes.
@aarongable: I never saw an update on the async announcement thread. Am I looking in the wrong place?
Hi, I don't see any updates. When will the Async Order finalization expected to be enabled in Staging?
Probably because there have not been any, that I am aware of.
