I thought the BRs required that unscrupulous marketing messages be sent within 24 hours of the CA becoming aware of the incident. Must not be running a tight ship over at DigiCert sales.

Why should I chat 5 - 10 minutes if the renew of all certificates is done in that time?

With an extra wait so the dns TXT entry is deployed?

That incidence shows, that automation is the key. Then it's not really a problem.

1,7 million new certificates in 48 hours, client-initiated.
