I created a CRON that tests the validity of “acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org” every hour (with dig).

At the moment, the answer is “NXDOMAIN”…

Is this correct for test the availability of ACMEv2?

When the directory URL for production ACMEv2 is available we will announce it broadly. You can test ACMEv2 immediately using the staging endpoint URL listed here: Staging Environment - Let's Encrypt
