About SSL certificate

Hello.

Does AutoSSL certificate (Let's Encrypt™) support G2 root certificates?

ISRG Root X1 and ISRG Root X2 are both G2 root certificates and support SHA-256 and ECC algorithms.

ISRG (Internet Security Research Group) is the governing body of Let's Encrypt™ and trusts SSL certificates issued using this certificate.

In other words, Lets Encrypt would support the G2 root certificate.

Can someone familiar with certificates confirm this?

Best Regards.

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. crt.sh | example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is: penname-sbryan-foobar-369.org

Do you mean the G2 root certificate from DigiCert? Because whether AutoSSL can get a DigiCert cert that chains to its G2 is really up to AutoSSL. You should ask their support. The ISRG, who run Let's Encrypt, do not develop AutoSSL

If I misunderstand your request, please explain in more detail.
