It looks like I successfully got the cert but when I reloaded I got 404 errors even from my local host.

Hi @barboa , and welcome to the LE community forum
We should have a look at the whole nginx configuration:sudo nginx -T
And make sure port 443 is open from the Internet.

I just opened up 443 so that might take a few min.

I still get:

The config looks fine.

the port wasnt opening. I actually think its good now. Thanks for your help. I didnt know that 443 needed to be open thanks again!
