I work in identity management: authentication, authorization, and managing PII (personally identifying information) for OCLC, a global provider of technical solutions to public, academic, and national libraries. I manage a SAML Federation of over 22k members with multi-tenant IDPs that support many but not all of those member institutions.

In a previous life i wrote monte carlo simulations of nuclear reactions in fortan and C on a SGI predator, fondly remember vaxen, enjoyed building analog logic circuits for nuclear experiments, and never programed a PDP11.
