Hi @AR84
looks like there is a problem with the name servers.
Host | T | IP-Address | is auth. | ∑ Queries | ∑ Timeout |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
zerossl.com | Name Error | yes | 1 | 0 | |
www.zerossl.com | Name Error | yes | 1 | 0 | |
zerossl.com | A | 5.189.131.117 Frankfurt am Main/Hesse/Germany (DE) - Contabo GmbH No Hostname found | no |
The non-authoritative ip address works and answers correct.
a.gtld-servers.net.
, one of the com zone servers, says
zerossl.com nameserver = ns1.dnsowl.com
zerossl.com nameserver = ns2.dnsowl.com
zerossl.com nameserver = ns3.dnsowl.com
But checking one of these name servers ->
nslookup zerossl.com. 104.207.141.138 -> Non-existent domain.
PS: Now, half hour later, the non-authoritative ip address is gone.
Host | T | IP-Address | is auth. | ∑ Queries | ∑ Timeout |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
zerossl.com | Name Error | yes | 1 | 0 | |
www.zerossl.com | Name Error | yes | 1 | 0 |
It is in process of moving to another registrar and looks like that registrar does not preserve/fix some records.
Upd: The process should now be complete and the site should be resolvable again. Please give it a go.
Perfect, thanks a lot for the Info. Adding the IP to the host file solved it for me
Yep, now my local machine shows a new ip - 174.138.41.18
PS: @AR84 - now remove the hosts entry with the - now - old ip.
PPS: Edited the topic title
