My new clients site is a mix of wordpress and html pages. Their site used to be all html, but their previous designer changed the main 167 pages to WP, but the client wants all pages to be https.
The LE free certif in cpanel takes care of the WP pages, however, will it also add SSL to the html pages in this site?
Probably! HTTPS is handled at the web server level, so the server is certainly capable of using the certificate to protect any kind of resource or content. You might need to edit a web server configuration to either add or remove redirects between HTTP and HTTPS versions of resources.
