I receive the email from let’s encrypt that certificate will expire today. How can I renew the certificate? how to install the certificate?

Welcome to the Let’s Encrypt Community, Paul :slightly_smiling_face:

We would need more detail to know for sure. In particular, which domains are supposedly expiring?

You can always visit https://crt.sh to search for your certificates and determine the real information. Sometimes those reminder emails are for previous certificates that have been replaced.

Jonathan,

I believe *.ogimb.com and *.onyglo.com are the one get expired.

Where can I get the updated SSL before it gets expired?

According to https://crt.sh/?q=ogimb.com and https://crt.sh/?q=onyglo.com, it looks like they both expire today. There are many ways of doing this, but all of them involve using an ACME client and dns-01 challenges. For expediency, I can probably get you a couple of certificates in minutes if you have access to any sort of linux terminal you trust with OpenSSL installed. Do you know how/where to install the certificate and its private key once you have them?

You’ll also need access to the DNS for both domains to temporarily add a couple of txt records to prove your ownership.

Jonathan,

Any details help is appreciated. I am new on this area.

I can ask one of my co worker to look into how to install and where to install if you can provide instruction with certificates.

Appreciated for your help

I can get you the certificates rather easily as I have authored my own ACME client that serves well in these types of situations. Do you have access to a linux terminal, ssh command line, some place secure you can run a single command?

Jonathan,

I just got a notification from my co-worker that he resolve the issue on SSL certs.

I appreciate all the help you provide to me in this case.

Thanks you very much

I don’t know what to do but i have already paid my domain name

@MarketingPro

You need not worry at all. :slightly_smiling_face:

  1. The emails you are receiving are for old certificates that are automatically being replaced/renewed:

  1. Your site is being redirected to wordpress anyway and thus being secured by their wildcard certificate:
