Unable to update challenge

Aloha, I’m using SSLforfree.com to create a multi-domain certificate for a multisite WP on GoDaddy cpanel.

I’m getting this message for ONE domain:

Domain “pcoshealthcoach.info” challenge failed. Response from “https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/acme/challenge/q5kuPfc5gSPXtsCoGffoOMm248dxQ7uLrqk8C_JNovY/10678453975” was

Error: Unable to update challenge :: authorization must be pending

Full Error: { “type”: “urn:ietf:params:acme:error:malformed”, “detail”: “Unable to update challenge :: authorization must be pending”, “status”: 400 }

Is it possible to fix this without having to upload a new set of verification files for certificate?

Mahalo

You seem to have too many pending authorizations (maybe).
I think they expire within 1 hour; so, you should be able to try again soon.

You can also try checking your domain at:
https://letsdebug.net/
Or even using the staging environment to test until you get it correct.

Waiting didn’t work. Every time I start over, another domain returns the same message. Thank you!

Try another site that does the same thing, like ZeroSSL (imo the best one) or gethttpsforfree.

The problem is to do with SSL For Free rather than anything to do with your domain or anything like that.
