Unable to download pdf from certain size

on our server when a website uses let’s encrypt SS, PDF files with size larger then 6mb (give or take) are not downloading

and the error message in the pdf viewer is “failed to load PDF document”

It is unlikely that this is related to your certificate or SSL/TLS configuration. However, it’s possible that you inadvertently changed something in a configuration file or section that specific to the HTTPS version of your site, for example in the nginx server block or apache virtual host that configures the HTTPS server.

It would be useful if you could share your web server configuration - both the HTTP and HTTPS section, if they’re separate - as well as your domain and maybe the URL to a document that’s showing this problem. I’d also be interested in knowing whether this happens with just one specific browser or with all of them.
