Hi! We have some issues with getting SSL certs for subdomains of clients so I do want to upgrade certbot. I am still on Certbot 0.27 and I did read I need to remove the apt package and install the new one through Snap. Can I safely remove Certbot (apt) without losing any certificates?
Yep. Uninstalling Certbot won't remove /etc/letsencrypt. which is where your data is stored.
If you like, you can make a copy of that directory as a backup.

Just don't use the apt purge command! That would/could result in the loss of the /etc/letsencrypt/ folder if I read the apt man page correctly.
