Too many certificates

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. https://crt.sh/?q=example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is: frigo.dns.army

I ran this command: sudo certbot -v

It produced this output: too many certificates (50) already issued for "dns.army"

My web server is (include version): apache2 2.4.62-1~deb12u2

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): raspberry 4

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: myself

DNS provider : dynv6.com

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don't know): yes

I'm using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): no

The version of my client is (e.g. output of certbot --version or certbot-auto --version if you're using Certbot):2.1.0

situation: I'm on a class project and I've done to many try when the dns wasn't setup properly
so I got an issue now and can't finalise the project.
I don't know if it's possible for you to reset the try count.

It is not. However, the error message should have told you when that window will clear, i.e., when you'll be able to issue another cert for that domain. If you aren't able to wait that long, you could consider using a different certificate authority. In the meantime, use the staging environment for testing, so that you will be less likely to encounter these errors in the future.
