There was an error updating the certificate: couldn’t connect to host

Hi all
My name is Jose Pinto and I’m Brasilian.
I already try to get a Let’s Encrypt Certificate using Certbot and I was not able. I’m using my own domain with a Cloud Server that has Centos 6 instaled and a PBX IP, the domain of the server is hddlb.com.br. I could install the Let’s encrypt using the SSH, but my problem is that I was not able to get the certificate since I get a message that is this: "here was an error updating the certificate: Error ‘Requested ‘http://hddlab.com.br//.freepbx-known/9c727fdb4c948f6a0a04a923a957dd70’ - couldn’t connect to host’ when requesting http://hddlab.com.br//.freepbx-known/9c727fdb4c948f6a0a04a923a957dd70"
Also I tryed another way that I saw at internet and I also was not able to get the certificate because I receive a message saying "unknown caractere"
My question is the problem can be the .com.br? Or is another thing?
Someone herfe could help me? Please.
Thank you very much for your time and attention.

We have been having a separate private thread about this (although maybe it would have been more useful to discuss it here in public). I have not seen the exact error that would show the reason for this problem about the invalid character, but we’ve been discussing some troubles with @josepinto’s system using Python 2.6 and having trouble with installing Python 3, which may or may not turn out to be related to this error.
