Switch from nginx to webroot

I have been doing some digging to find a solution and it’s not playing out to be very clear. I set up a VPS and had LE working then switched to Cloudflare CDN. Now cert renewal fails for LE. It seems because I did a nginx install of the certs is the issue. Am I correct that I need to switch to webroot? If so what are the steps to switch? It just isn’t very clear as to how I go about switching.

You may be able to use Cloudflares certificates instead.

If I understand correctly. If I want encryption from the server to Cloudflare I will need LE.

If I understand correctly, Cloudflare can provide a cert for that as well.
