SSL communication with some sites has been disabled since February 19, 2020.
I know the cause.
We forgot to set the intermediate certificate.
What I want to know is why we were able to communicate until 2/18.
Does it concern the following:

No, it does not. The validation process does not interfere with server (mis)configuration.
