Subject alternative name

I am new to NAS synology.

I do not have a “subject alternative name” and can not create certificate with Let’s Encrypt.
please help

you need a public visible domain name. One is enough.

I created a certificate with Synology.com but did not asked for SAN so I can not provide one when Let’s Encrypt asks for that.

Do you have a domain name you can share? You must have a worldwide visible, public and unique domain name.

Something like community.letsencrypt.org.

If you have only a name like yourname.example.com, localhost.localhost or something else:

Letsencrypt can't create a certificate.

Synology provides free names.
Like: yourname.synology.me
