SSL/TLS loads for other browsers but not Safari

My domain is: alisatsuji.com

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: Buyshared.net.

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don't know): No.

I'm using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): Cpanel.

Not sure why doesn't load on Safari for either Mac OS or iOS, Other browsers are fine.

It just loads a blank page for me, whether under Firefox or Safari under macOS Sonoma. There's no http->https redirect, but the (blank) page loads without error using HTTPS with either browser.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I have set up a blank page for now.

How would I enable http>https redirect for Safari?

The same way you'd enable it for any other browser (it doesn't redirect for Firefox either), which should be somewhere in your control panel--I'm not really familiar with Cpanel to know where that would be.

This is strange. It redirects for me under MS Edge, Firefox Focus and Librewolf. But does not under Firefox on Android or iOS.

I've checked cpanel and I have redirects enabled for HTTPS turned on. Very strange.

I wonder if those--whether by default, or due to some extension you have installed--try to connect via HTTPS first. That might account for what you're seeing.

Your server is properly redirecting requests. If a browser is not honoring them there must be something about that browser. It's not related to Let's Encrypt certs and not even your server config. You may need to consult a browser support forum.

Hello MikeMcQ and danb35,

I spoke with my host regarding HTTPS redirects based on danb35's findings.

I had them enabled in cpanel but they only started working once my host forced them.

Everything is now working. Thanks for your help!!
